The 2019 Innovation Award is focused on Workstation Layout.

For the fifth year in a row, MAPP's Innovation Award seeks to celebrate, recognize and share best practices from MAPP members who are doing what it takes to get ahead in a competitive industry. Winners of this year's award will receive an award, prizes and recognition at the 2019 Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference. All submissions will be compiled and sent out to the MAPP membership for anonymous voting. This will occur during the months of July and August.

All final submissions will also be shared in the new 2019 Best Practices Handbook distributed at the Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference and available to members on the MAPP website. 

Submissions for this year's competition should include photos or a brief video (under 1 minute), along with a description of your best practice. Your submission should illustrate how your company has implemented an effective workstation layout to:

• Reduce motion and waste
• Optimize ergonomics
• Create standardization
• Eliminate confusion
• Increase workplace safety
• Reduce takt time
• Maximize space
• Otherwise increase overall employee and/or workplace efficiency
