During this in-person event, attendees will view manufacturing best practices through a tour of the PTA Plastics facility in Oxford, CT, network with peers and PTA staff, and discuss several in-depth challenges facing the industry.
About PTA:
For 70 years PTA Plastics has built a reputation of engineering excellence and dedication to quality, experience, and innovation. Primarily serving the medical industry, PTA's Industry 4.0 capable molding machines, workstations with projected reality, and 3D scanners and printers are customized to improve the quality of finished products.
Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to, learn from the PTA Plastics team, and discuss how they stay innovative and customer-focused. Attendees will walk away from this plant tour with several implementable best practices and solutions to challenges the plastics industry is facing.
In alignment with MAPP's Automation Initiative, attendees will have time specifically focused on different automation practices and challenges, from implementation, calculating ROI, repurposing assets, and more! Plastics industry professionals working with automation, regardless of age or experience level, are encouraged to register for this tour as well.
