MAPP's biennial Machine Rate Survey is now open. This study, created and updated by MAPP member executives, benchmarks hourly machine rates by distinct tonnage ranges. This year's study is a straight-forward questionnaire and has been updated to include additional insights and data to participants. 

What's new this year:

• Rates are broken down by industry, region, business activity and molding function
• Narrower machine tonnage ranges
• Age of machines
• Percent markups for SGA, scrap rate, assembly, components, packaging and automated cells
• Discount or markup rates for high-volume parts, low-volume parts, and complexity
• Specific breakout section for cleanroom manufacturing
