We’re finding ourselves frequently pulling the screw to thoroughly clean it before running clear parts (lenses, covers, etc) that have strict aesthetic requirements for black specks. Has anyone found a purging compound that is extremely effective in removing carbonized material from the screw and barrel and would eliminate the frequent cleaning of the screw? Does it also not leave a lot of residue which would cause other issues with aesthetic lenses?
