Young Professionals: Polymer Conversions Plant Tour

  📅 Add to calendar

Where: Polymer Conversions, Orchard Park, NY

About Polymer Conversions:

For over 40 years, Polymer Conversions has been serving the plastics industry. Originally started as a take-over manufacturer for injection molded Fisher Price dolls, the organization has developed into a highly-automated, highly-skilled, advanced medical injection molding manufacturer, and was recently recognized as a Top Shop in Plastics Technology Magazine.

Polymer Conversions now thrives on highly challenging, complex, precision medical molding. By concentrating on process monitoring and data collection, the organization is able to create high-quality parts through robust, highly repeatable processes. With its youthful workforce, Polymer Conversions has fully embraced new technology, automation and scientific-molding solutions.

Outside of its technical capabilities, Polymer Conversions celebrates its unique company culture. Situated on a 15-acre wooded lot, employees and guests can enjoy time outside in the natural environment. Additionally, the organization is dedicated to reinvesting in its community of Western New Year. From community donations and volunteering to internships and strategic relationships with local businesses.

It is the collaboration with long-term employees (average tenure of approximately 15-years+) and their new, young engineering team that Polymer Conversions continues to push themselves into the future.

What to Expect:

Join MAPP, the Polymer Conversions team and other plastics industry young professionals for a full-day event focused on understanding best practices on maintaining operational excellence throughout an organization. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Polymer Conversions facility, network, discuss opportunities to improve in their own facilities and learn from the Polymer Conversions team on how they use their youthful engineering team to embrace technology, automation and prepare for the future.
