Webinar: Program Assistance for Manufacturers Negatively Impacted by Imports

Is your average employment down by 5% or more? If yes to these questions, the Great Lakes Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (GLTAAC) can provide project assistance of up to $75,000 in matching funds that can be used to tackle crucial initiatives to regain your competitive edge. 
 
In this short webinar, you’ll learn how the GLTAAC can immediately strengthen a firm’s competitiveness through practical assistance via planning and analysis and help enhance long-term opportunities for business growth and employment. Jani Hatchett, a project manager at GLTAAC, will walk through how to qualify for matching funds, talk through details surrounding the assessment and planning phases, and then discuss what it looks like to implement business improvement projects designed for your manufacturing company. 
 
Past projects used GLTAAC matching funds to:

About GLTAAC

GLTAAC is part of the Economic Growth Institute at the University of Michigan. It manages the Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms (TAAF) program for companies located in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan, funded by the Economic Development Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce. TAAF is the only federal program specifically designed to help companies that have been negatively impacted by imports and offers project assistance of up to $75,000 in matching funds that can be used to tackle crucial initiatives.
