Many times, injection molding processes are developed on a specific machine, quality criteria are verified, and the mold is approved to run production.  However, when that mold then moves from the press where the process was built to a different machine quality issues begin to arise that were not present during the initial run.  This is often due to the fact that processors will use machine setting to transfer a process from one press to another.  This webinar will address this issue and focus on machine-independent variables, that when matched, can lead to easy tool transfer from one machine to the next.  Throughout the presentation, we will discuss what machine-independent variables are, how to ensure a machine is capable, and how to use the machine-independent variables to transfer a mold from one machine to another.
