Join Greg Alonso and Ted Morgan from Plante Moranā€™s Plastics Leadership Team and MAPP Members, Glen Fish, CEO of Revere Plastics and Kelly Goodsel, Viking Plastics, President and CEO as they discuss 2020 results and insights from Plante Moranā€™s North American Plastics Industry Survey (NAPIS).  You will not want to miss the perspectives regarding offensive and defensive strategies shared on this panel as we find ourselves in uncertain times. 

The webinar will include an interesting analysis of trends from plastics processors coming out of the Great Recession of 2008-2009 and the expected similarities and differences to the COVID-19 recovery.  Glen and Kelly will share their insights throughout the conversation regarding the data trends, expectations for the industry and how they have faced recent challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kelly Goodsel, Viking Plastics

Kelly is the President/CEO of Viking Plastics, a privately held, American-owned injection molding company headquartered in Corry, PA. Kelly has been in the plastics industry for over 30 years, with experience in engineering, sales, marketing, and research and development.  He joined the Viking Plastics team in 2000, and purchased the company in 2006. Previous to Viking, Kelly held various positions at DuPont, the Huron Plastics Group, and the Fremont Plastic Products Division of The Plastics Group. Kelly is a Ferris State University graduate with dual degrees in Plastics Engineering and Sales and Marketing, and earned his MBA from Temple University. He has served on the MAPP board and has been a member for over 14 years.

Glen Fish, Revere Plastics Systems

Glen Fish, president, Revere Plastic Systems, has worked for Revere for over three years and has over 22 years of operational and commercial experience in the manufacturing space for the appliance, automotive, industrial, consumer goods, aerospace, and deĀ­fense industries. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BS in Mechanical Engineering as well as receiving his MBA from Davenport. He has previously worked for a tier 1 automotive supplier, a defense contractor, and most recently worked in the fasĀ­tener industry. In his role at Revere, Fish is responsible for profitably operating, growing and diversifying the four plastic injection molding facilities while exceeding customersā€™ expectations.
