Join the MAPP Board, members, and staff for the first in-person plant tour of 2021!

Eclipse Mold, Inc. started helping its customers achieve success as an Injection Mold Builder 45 years ago.  Soon after buying their first tryout machine, they were asked “Can you run that mold for us?” and they haven’t looked back.

Today, Eclipse’s 150 team members serve customers around the world from two IATF certified facilities in Michigan. The Eclipse team works hard to continually improve its processes and creatively take advantage of advancements in the latest equipment and automation. Continuous investments in people and technology have allowed the team members to focus on quality and execution, rather than mundane and repetitive activities.

Working together, team members from Tooling, Molding and Automation collaborate to design a manufacturing plan, build injection molds, staging nests, and end of arm tooling to utilize in the custom injection molding process.  Focusing on fully automated and “automation lite” cells with co-bots are some of the ways Eclipse maintains its competitiveness and most recently mitigates challenges associated with labor shortages. The goal is simple, make good parts on time,  executing is the fun part!

During this tour event, attendees will gather to brainstorm solutions to common challenges, tour the Eclipse Mold facility, and benchmark best practices in continuous improvement, quality, execution, and automation.
