Indianapolis, IN - The Manufacturers Association of Plastics Processors’ (MAPP) revealed today membership has hit the 400 member mark, a record for the association’s 20-year history.

Established in 1996, The Manufacturer's Association for Plastics Processors, Inc. (MAPP) is the largest grassroots organization in the United States plastics industry, serving member companies in 42 states and representing more than 45,000 employees.  As a national non-profit trade association for plastics manufacturers, MAPP provides its members with access to the most powerful networking in the industry among other benefits.

For 20 years, MAPP has proudly served as the association of choice for plastics processors. MAPP prides itself on the association’s hands-on work with plastics professionals, creating a strong network of executives, and providing its membership with benchmarks and events to adapt to the ever-changing plastics manufacturing environment. Even as the association grows, it continues to focus on giving value to processors and its roots through cost reduction programs, networking, benchmarking data and more.

“Congratulations to the MAPP team delivering on promise! Also, I would like to recognize the past leadership, past and present sponsors and board of directors for embracing/promoting the best-in-class for our industry,” said Norm Forest, MAPP Board President, and CEO of Dymotek, a long-time MAPP member company.

“This is a humbling and exciting milestone that has been 20 years in the making. We are grateful for the support of our founding members and continued work of our membership and sponsors. The Manufacturers Association of Plastics Processors is proud to serve its membership and the plastics industry and looks forward to the future growth of the association and the industry overall,” said Troy Nix, executive director for the MAPP association.
