<title>PRD, Inc.: Conflict Minerals Reporting</title>
<link>/plastic-industry-forum/article1467.htm</link>
<description>Interplex Plastics: John,

I have seen this request as well, but have yet to encounter a customer who has specified a raw material that utilizes one of these &quot;conflict minerals&quot;.

I would think that much like REACH and ROHS documentation, you would be able to ask many of the larger RM suppliers for certification.

Curious to know what you learn.

<title>Metro Plastics Technologies: IQMS document control</title>
<link>/plastic-industry-forum/article1408.htm</link>
<description>Engineering Industries, Inc.: Bradley, I would be interested in hearing about what you thought of MasterControl vs. IQMS. I was the Project Manager at a former position and implemented MasterControl version 9.0.1. back in 2011. I started at Engineering Industries recently, and we are thinking of utilizing the Document Control module in IQMS. Thanks for your input!

<description>PTA Plastics - Longmont: Janet,

We have been successful doing the same, however we now have an OEM requesting test and/or inspection records. Our material supplies state on their declarations that they do not maintain test records.

<description>Admin: Jim, if you logon to the MAPP website, click the Member&#039;s Tab, and scroll down on the menu bar to the Business and Technical Directory. Once you bring up the director, use the pull down menu and select quality.

The list you see are professionals in the MAPP network that have a significant expertise in the Quality arena. They have listed their email addresses and contact phone numbers.

This might be a great source for you!</description>
